CONVERSATION

Sometimes we keep on doings things without any motives or it can be said that we do not the reason behind the actions we performed. Few days back a friend of mine text me- hey what’s up and I replied nothing yaar just working on an article. Then I received another text with another question why do you write articles? I was taken aback by the question not because it was offensive, in fact it is very simple question, but honestly till that time I was not having any answer to that question. Too many question for a single day, that’s what I was thinking but was interrupted by another incoming text message from the same person. The next question was nearly took me by surprise. It states did you valentine day to anybody? I was surprised because my “friend” knew it very well I am single but just like a good friend I replied NO YAAR, you know I do not have a girl friend. The friend did not stop here, send me another question- so what you can still wish valentine to your friends.

To all those male genders who are thinking that it is legitimate to wish valentine day to your friends, I have a suggestion. If you are determined to do this, then make up your mind that you may end up your day with a red cheek and black eyed face or if you are very, very lucky then you may end up with the girl in your arms. Either way one thing is definitive, that at the end of day you will have an empty wallet in your back pocket. You will be either paying the doctor for the treatment or you will turn up into a shopaholic with your love bird. HAHAHHAAHAHA well jokes apart but it t is worth trying for once.

But I was thinking about the question why do I write article? Some may say that it is very well understood that people write article for earning and bringing change in the society. I totally agreed with them, but still I do not see this as the main reason behind me for writing articles. I just write article because well, because I might have nothing else to do or whatever. I write articles to fill the void in my routine or you can take it like this I find it as the most appropriate way to interact with myself. Thoughts in mind may get eluded after some time but once you pinned down those thoughts on a piece of paper it remains with you forever. May be that is the reason behind my writings. But even after two whole days of that conversation, I am still looking for a more suitable answer to that question.

Another reason might be the fear of facing my inner self. We have a fear of facing ourselves. It is like an obstacle in your development. Experiencing the inner most core of my existence is very embarrassing to me. I want to turn to something that I hope will liberate the short comings without facing them but I knew that it is not feasible. I cannot come out from by comfort zone like this. I write article expressing myself because I find it more appropriate way to communicate. Some might differ from me stating that best way to communicate is to communicate with people. I have a different view point. The only I did not open my heart and mind to other people easily because I fear that they will trigger confusion in me that I do not feel enough or sane enough to deal with.

Therefore the only way I find to deal with my fear of facing myself is to tame mu curiosity. I am trying to cultivate my curiosity. I strongly believe that my curiosity is the sole protector of my soul. It helps and guides me to try something different, something new. It gives me the strength that whatever is out there, I have to face it. I strongly believe that my curiosity to come out of my comfort zone is the main reason behind my writing.

Look at the irony in this article, while looking for the answer to the question I end up writing another one. Well I am still looking for an answer to the question. If you have any suggestions for me I am all yours.

BROKEN ARROWS: CONGRESS

The respect and the image of much awaited prime minister Rahul Gandhi is on verge in the assembly elections of U.P 2012. On one side, he along with his sister and children is promoting congress and on the other hand the other congress members are busy in buttering the GANDHI family. The ministers are so busy in fighting among themselves for the attention of the GANDHI’s by giving statements which are not only harmful for the constitution but also an alarming situation for the democracy. The announcement of providing the reservation of 9% to the muslim from the quota allotted to the backward classes by the Cabinet Minister of the Ministry of Law and Justice and Ministry of Minority Affairs  Salman Khurshid was taken very seriously by the election commission. The election commission warned him once on the incident but a few days back Salman Khurshid while addressing an assembly stated that – I will work for the betterment of the Muslim even if election commission will hang me. I was surprised, was Mr. Salman Khrusid sleeping since the last four years. Why is it that the Congress always remember the need of reservation and the caste at the election, neither prior to the elections nor after the election is over. Salman Khrusid represent the Cabinet Minister of the Ministry of Law and Justice and Ministry of Minority Affairs, therefore is not it is obvious that he must maintain the sovereignty and integrity of the election commission. The silence of prime minister and the Sonia Gandhi simply means that Salman Khrusid has a go for everything.
Persuasion by flattering is very common in the Congress and the most recent example is put up by the Minister of State and the Coal and Statistics minister Sri Prakash Jaiswal. He said that Rahul can be the prime minister of the country whenever he wishes to take the office in his charge. He can govern U.P with the remote control. But Mr. Sri Prakash Jaiswal forgets that the remote control operated government in the centre has caused the collateral damage, and the future of U.P can be easily figured out on this basis.
When because of the constitutional barrier Sonia Gandhi was not able to hold the post of prime minister in 2004, then a bureaucrat was given the supreme position but he remote of power remains to the Sonia Gandhi itself. This scenario leads to uncontrolled corruption. If the apex court had not interfered in the cases of 2G spectrum and the common wealth games, the culprits were be roaming freely and planning for the next LOOT.
Rahul Gandhi is boosting that the Congress will change the course of U.P by many folds within a span of three years. But I do not think that he has ever had a look on the progress of the schemes running under the central government. More than 70% of the running programs and schemes are behind schedule and now it is nearly impossible to complete them. This delay in completing the process has itself cost more than Rs. 1800 crore to the government. Rahul is blaming the non congress government for the condition of the U.P, but how could he forget that the congress has ruled over the entire nation unanimously for nearly 40 years.
Congress is saying that it will not form a coalition government as all other parties are corrupt, then why did the Congress opts for their support in the central government? Congress is an opportunistic party rather than a political party and it can be easily seen in their speeches. Rahul is continually speaking that just like the ARJUN in the MAHABHARTHA. Congress is also eying only on chief minister position in the U.P. Congress has not tasted win in the U.P for last 22 years, therefore, this time to mark a victory in the state, they are attacking and playing with the motto of constitution is against the constitution.
I do not know whether this idea of Congress, to generate the “muslim vote bank” by making a mockery of the constitution will bear sweet fruits for them or not but one thing is for sure - this ruthless and careless attitude of Congress will affect the integrity and the sovereignty of the nation very badly and the result of such an action will be devastating in the future.

DIRTY PICTURE: REVIEW

Legislative proceedings are usually far from stimulating and we have grown accustomed to our MPs and MLAs taking a surreptitious nap or even snoring defiantly to escape the tedium o debate. But the three Karnataka BJP ministers who were forced to resign took a step ahead and choose a more noble way to disgrace the democratic temple. Much to the embarrassment of themselves and their party, they were caught by TV cameras red handed while watching a porn movie clip, on one of their cell phones. Laxman Savadi, minister of Coopertion, was saying that he was watching newsclip about a woman being gang raped brings no sympathy for him. A mere excuse of newsclip is not going to shield your ridiculous attitude. Well as it is said that always look for a positive things in every incidents. The best that can be said in this event is that in an era where our legislature are sporadic witnesses to a range of boisterous activities like fisticuffs, abuse, screaming, overthrown furniture, torn papers and flung slippers and not to forget the money hai to honey hai drama in the parliament – the tri murti were passing their time silently without disturbing the proceedings of the house. Well at least the trio has made a history by watching porn in the legislative proceeding for the first time in the history of Indian politics.

On the other side this matter has exposes the unalloyed hypocrisy of the conservative and hardline leaders who always have questioned on the issue of sex and morality. Not a very back it was in Karnataka only that the fundamentalist assaulted women in pubs, ran anti valentine day’s campaigns – all this with a view to protect the culture from the immoral foreign influence.  The state government which is already facing the burns of permitting a wild rave party in the Udipi, this incident just added the salt on the wounds.

Although we do not expect our representatives to be saint, persons indulging in such vulgar activities should not be tolerated. They should not only resign but also be barred from contesting elections.

There is a very little window of hope that the closure submitted by the SIT will be deciding over the 2002 Gujarat riots against the Narendra Modi. If you look into the past, it is clearly evident that there is certain group of people whose sole objective is to keep this issue burning at every cost and they anyhow  will find a loophole in the report and then will all over again. Even when there is very little hope that these groups will frame the case against the Narendra Modi  still they will try up to the limit to keep the agenda flowing.  What is more important is that even the untiring efforts by the law agencies, neither the supreme nor any other lower court , have accused NARENDRA MODI personal involvement in these riots. But he is criticized by the apex court now and then. It is true that after the burning accident in the Sabarmati express riots spread due to lack of government efficiency. Therefore it is natural to blame the government for this, but, the accusation that the government did not respond and let the riots spread in order to teach lesson to the Muslim community is totally absurd. The riots of 2002 were the centre of attraction during the election of 2002 and 2007 but on the both occasion the people of Gujarat have given clean cheat to Narendra Modi.  It looks like it is impossible to beat Narendra Modi in the political battle, thus, congress is trying to involve him in courts. It is very evident that the so called social workers fighting for the right of people in the Gujarat are doing nothing to punish the people who were behind the Gulbarg housing society massacre. But they are only following Narendra Modi as if he himself have gone there and started the attack. They sole motive is to prove that the Narendra Modi is behind the killing of Jafari. Even they get an officer on their side to prove this, but when the SIT did not give any importance to his statement then they started questioning the authenticity of the panel. One thing which I cannot understand is that why are they not believing the panel created by Supreme Court? Do they want themselves to investigate the event and wants to give own verdict.  No one has ever thought that they have not been any communal violence since the riots of 2002 and last decade of Gujarat was peaceful and very progressive. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi Gujarat has developed a lot and the people are really happy with the Narendra Modi lead government. People do not want to remember the incident of 2002, they want to forget all of it, but the congress is not letting it go. Will there be any change in the view after Narendra Modi gets clearance by the SIT report submitted in the Supreme Court, which is to be opened on the 15th February. The answer is hidden in the general election of the 2012. Will Narendra Modi again do the magic or the congress will get success in his sole objective of gaining the chief minister’s chair in the Gujarat.

 

MURDER NO 3

Living in age where education and leadership have surrendered their nobility to a more practical and profitable approach, we awake each morning to shocking events. Where cold commercialisation has eroded ethical values, and we have a medical student slain in self styled revenge, three “honourable” leaders sharing dishonourable moments in legislative assembly and a teacher who meets a tragic end in her school. It may be rarest of the rare cases in the living memory.

Nothing is more shocking than the violence of the children. For any society, Children are the personification of innocence, free from the lies of the corrupt, adult world they are yet to enter. The murder of a school teacher by a 15 year old student in Chennai who was angry at being lectured for his poor performance in class has thrown up deeply alarming question on parenting, teaching, social and culture mores. Under any circumstances, the teacher did nothing beyond the expected duty. After the lad’s poor performance in the subject, Hindi, she wrote some notes in his school diary to attract the attention of his parents. In the prevailing situation it is common in students to tame a grudge against the teacher, but, in this case, the boy took a step ahead and planned to kill his mentor and waiting for the right opportunity. Was it wrong that the teacher wanted her student to shine in his studies? This makes the task of guarding against the recurrence of such events almost impossible.

Blaming parenting is easy, but it cannot be the deciding factor at least in this case. There is nothing which shows that the boy was brought up in an abnormal society as all his siblings are doing very well. It is obvious that the parents bear a greater share of the responsibility for the behaviour of their children, but at the same time bad parenting cannot explain such deviant behaviour. One may blame our educational system, including the process of examination and the marks evaluation mechanism, but these too cannot be held responsible for violence in the school.

The reason may be that the student do not occupy an innocent world of their own; they are very much part of the nasty, unworthy and adult universe. The teacher’s murder is indicative of the collateral damage of the society – our school cannot remain untouched when the outside world is burning. We need to pursue remedies at the school level by including counselling and early alarming system that can help the students to cope up with the stress and the strain in a better way.

In the last we have learnt a very good lesson from this incident that teachers are not devils and students are not always angels.

SOCIAL NETWORKS AND THEIR WORTH

Today we may boost about the social networking sites like Facebook, my space, Orkut, etc have done a remarkable work in connecting us socially. These sites provide an online platform to share our views and feelings. They help us to know what is going on in our society. I do not know to what extent they help us in communicating socially or are they really worth of the importance they have in our daily life. I, too, have a profile on these websites. Till yesterday I to believe that they are a good platform which makes us aware of our surrounding from the comfort of our home but I was wrong. Just like others I also spend 2-3 hours daily on these websites giving my opinion on social and personal issue, discussing them with other members of the community but I was not having any idea about my next door neighbor. Yesterday the only child in their family died in the morning and surprisingly I was aware of this incident till late in the evening though I was very aware of the fact 3 BJP leaders were caught red handed while watching a blue movie clip, that a college festival party turned up in to a rave party, that U.S is trying to woo Pakistan as usual, that Sahara has withdrawn itself as the sponsor of Indian cricket team and many such other news. I knew what happened in the world that morning but does not have a clue what happened to my next door family.  I am not blaming social networking sites for this as it is not their fault. They are here to provide a social platform and do business and that they are doing very well. The fault lies within ourselves. Today young generation is mugging internet to such an extent that they do not time for their own family members so how could one accept that they will be having any information about their neighbors. We have restricted our social life within the network of online networking. We are not giving any importance in meeting people who live in our society regularly. Only 10% of the total individual knew their society and surroundings very well. There is only handful of human beings who knew each and every individual living within the radius of 1 km. From their place and still we keep on barking that we are socially very active. If you do not know what is happening in your neighborhood then what is point in gathering information about the global news. Today’s generation thinks that it is much easy and convenient for use online social networking rather than meeting them in person. The social networking sites have penetrated our life so deep that we do not have any time to interact with others. I do not have grudge against the networking sites as they are here to earn money and they are doing it very well. The fault lies within us. We are obsessed with the sites and it feels like as if they have an importance equivalent to the oxygen in our life. As it is said that excess of everything is bad, no matter how good the thing is. Therefore I would say that people must come out of their closet. They should draw a line between their personal space and their social life. The incident makes me think over the authenticity of my social activities. It clearly shows me that how social I am. I am not asking you to stop social networking over the internet but I would ask you to reorganize your priorities between the real social network and the virtual social network. Many may argue me that they do not have enough time to interact with others personally due to their hectic schedule therefore they are bind to rely completely on these sites for communicating with others. Please do correct me if I am wrong. Is not it is true that these same people have 3-4 hours in their so called hectic schedule for the social network? Yet they complain of not having enough time. It is ridiculous and the truth is that we always have time for people in the society but we use it only when we have some work from them otherwise they are like strangers to us. A well maintained and interacting society always leads to corps of well educated and disciplined individual. Interacting within the not only helps us in gaining mental peace but it also helps our children to learn how to contribute, adjust, sacrifice which indeed helps in their better development. Can you're so called online social network incorporates these qualities to the young generation? The answer will be cent percent NO, without any doubts but still we are running behind the virtual social network and neglecting the real one. It is time to wake up before it’s too late to recover anything because I do not think if we will wait any longer then there would not be much to recover.

When you educate a man, you educate an individual

But when you educate a woman, you educate a whole family

It is truly said but still woman education system in India is nor gearing up as expected. Government is trying very hard for the uplifting of woman by creating new schemes for woman empowerment at the centre as well at the state level. Government is providing free sanitation, education scholarship at various levels exclusively for woman.
But all these efforts of government is in vain. They are not producing the desired result because irrespective of the government thinking and motive behind the woman education, families have their own mind set and priority. They say that if we send our girl child to study then who will do the daily chores of the house. They also believe that at last woman has to do CHAUKA BARTAN when they get married therefore it is not necessary to teach them.
If you think it as the worst ideology of a parent then hey wait i have not finished yet. There are places in India where parents and relatives celebrate the birth of a female child in the family. Surprised, if yes, Read further. They do not belong to the slot who gives emphasis on girl education and empowerment but they are the one who always wants woman to remain in their shoes. So why are they celebrate their births? They celebrate the birth not because of the respect for the female but because they get a new earning member in their family. They are happy as they a new social worker between themselves. The newer the worker the better it is for the business. In straight forward way they forcefully turn the female infants of their families into PROSTITUTES at a mere age of 14 years.
Shocking and bitter isn’t? But as it is said that truth is always bitter. We live in a country where people worship the stoned statue of goddesses so that all their wrong deeds can be taken care of and we turn the living goddesses into prostitute and still believe that yah all my sins will be washed by praying to the goddesses. We give full respect to a stoned statue but why cannot see the pain we are giving to our own child.

Men are allowed to have the passion and commitment for their work,

A woman is allowed to have that feeling for a man, but not for her work.

We have been taking about the equal rights given to both the genders but are we serious in carrying out them at the same time. I do not think so. It is really difficult for a woman to get her rights and a very simple reason for that is:
IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR A WOMAN TO BE HERSELF IN THE SOCIETY OF PRESENT DAY, WHICH IS EXCLUSIVELY MASCULINE SOCIETY, WITH LAWS FRAMED BY MEN AND WITH A JUDICIAL SYSTEM THAT JUDGES FEMININE CONDUCT FROM A MASCULINE POINT OF VIEW.
Ever since the birth a girl is being told that  TU TO PARAYA DHAN HAI EK DIN APNE GHAR CHALI JAYEGI. Whenever there is need of a sacrifice in the family girls are first and last option family members have. It feels like adding salt to wounds when this situation is supported by the mother , who in their earlier days have tasted this agony. The misery of a woman never ends. During the childhood days it is she who is asked to leave her schooling, her dreams so that his brother can study. We always woman to sacrifice their basic need for the sake of family and relation but have you ever seen a male child is asked to make sacrifice for their family. I think that is the reason behind the saying that
WOMAN BECOME LIKE THEIR MOTHER AND THAT IS THEIR TRAGEDY.
A woman after her marriage is mutilated by her in laws. She joins a new family with a better hope but aghast she did not receive her due respect here. They face the molestation and agony on the name of dowry.
On one side woman in our country is amongst the most powerful and influential personality of the world, whiles on the other side they are woman who are being deprived of their basic needs. Few women are making government which is running the country whereas many of them act like a ………..by now you may be blaming the man dominated society for the poor condition of woman. I do not accept this as the reason behind their situation. Women are self responsible for their suffering because they never realize their true potential.

YOU CANNOT TELL HOW STRONG THEY ARE

UNTIL YOU PUT THEM IN HOT WATER

I can only say that it is up to the generation Y of the female to decide their destiny. For you I will say that
YOU MAY ENCOUNTER DEFEATS, BUT YOU MUST NOT BE DEFEATED.
But are we so blind or is it our thrust for money or any other reason behind this creuality and inhuman act.
At last I would say that no government, no god can help you. It is entirely up to how you want to live in the society. Just waiting and watching that someday somebody will take an AVTAAR and come for your rescue will do no good for you. The sooner you realize this the better it is for you. It is time to get up, tie your shoe and take a stand that enough is enough and everything has an end. Therefore it should end here.
I was not taking about the article though I am ending it. 

HUMAN LIFE

Human beings spend their entire life around the piece of a ‘specific paper’. We spent first phase of our life in learning the methods of making more and more paper. Second phase of life is spent in earning these specific papers and the last phase in spending them on our dear ones.

But in the population of 1.21 crore there are very few people who have lifted themselves above from the life cycle of paper. Everybody in their students life must have thought that “ ONE DAY I WILL HAVE SO MUCH MONEY THAT I CAN HAVE THE BIGGEST CAR, MOST BEAUTIFUL BUNGLOW FOR THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WIFE” but have you ever thought of serving your society or the mankind. The answer in will be a no and some might say it is not my duty. If it is not your duty then could you tell me whose duty is it? I might be wrong up to some extent but the story of majority of individuals will be in accordance to me.

Our so GREAT thought gets shattered the moment we enter the real world from the reel (college life) world, and it is then when we realize the hardness and the reality of the world in which we dwell. Our expectations are way too high but our commitment to that is at the bottom, still, we believe that we will one day achieve it. The gap between desire and destiny is because of we are used to live in our self made world. Prior to completing our college life we hardly make any estimate of our capabilities. We dream big but act low. We still believe that life is a fairy tale and every thing will fall in place on its own. The sooner we realize it that there is no “MOZART IN DISGUISE “ for us , the better it is for us.

 

Have anybody thought about the reason behind the 16 yearlong dream which shatter down on DAY 1 after the college life. To some extent Ithink it is the education institute running in the country are responsible forthis day dreaming. Today nearly every educational institute boost about their100% placement record since inception, but, still the number of unemployedindividuals is increasing with each passing day.

One thing which I do not understand is that : what kind ofunemployment is prevailing in our country which cannot be eradicated even afterintroducing so many schemes and investing large sum of money. Some may pointout that the money allotted for the education does not reach them. But still itcannot justify the fault in our education system. The offered job and thequalifying criteria does not match for any qualifying examinations. The examinationpattern does not have seen any change in the past few years whereas the needand demand of the job is changing frequently.

Another reason behind this is our high expectations. When wetake admission in colleges we are told that “on completing this job you willget a starting of package of 4-5 lakh. The institute impose these words onevery student irrespective of his capabilities. Therefore every student dreamof getting a job after completing his degree course but when the real timecomes they recognise that this all was nothing more than a lie. At that pointof time they realises their mistake of blindly following the sayings ofinstitute but by that it is too late for them to act.

Therefore I will suggest each and everybody it graduatestudent or someone who is going to start college life not to believe theseinstitutes because it is not their fault. It is their work to promote theirinstitute as the best place to study. It is our duty to realise our real potentialand then plan accordingly otherwise you will keep getting what you have alwaysgot.

                 No part of the education of a politician is more  indispensable than the fighting of elections.

It is predetermined that if any individual wants to earn money and respect than the only available medium to achieve this is through quality education. People believe that an educated individual gets more respect, money and attention than an illiterate. This  might be true up to some extent but I do not fully support this ideology because

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IS NOT THE PREREQUISITE OF SUCCESS IN THE LIFE.

Those who do not agree to me, they have not seen or understood the career of politician. Many may say that politics is not a career but just a mere social service offered by few capable and influential individual. But on comparing today’s scenario many will support me that politics is much more than just the social service and has emerged as a blooming career.
I appeal to people to take politics as a career because it has many advantages over the career achieved by traditional education. I am listing few of them.
1.        You do not need any minimum educational qualification.
2.        No retirement in this career.
3.        No restriction of your ‘UPPARI KAMAI’ if you are interested in it.
4.        The biggest advantage: no worries about the future of your family members as they will automatically inherit your political legacy. 

One may say that it takes more than 10 – 15 years of hard work to become a well established politician leader, but hey did one has to study for more than 16 years without any assurance of getting any job.
If you still believe that it takes a long time in becoming a well known politician and you want to achieve this status in a shorter time span than I have a short cut for you. This may shorten your political career but will give you immense money and respect.


The short cut is CORRUPTION. In politics the more corrupt the individual the more money and fame he develops for himself.

CAREER MYTHS

DESTINY and INDIANS have an everlasting togetherness.
The destiny of new born in India is always pre expected based on their gender. If the new born is male then he is destined to be engineer someday and if it is a female then medical is the only field available to them. In India 95% of male and female are pressurized to become engineer and doctors respectively no matter whether they are capable of doing or not. Parents decide the future of their new born on the same day they are born and from day one of their life they are told to study hard and choose a career either in engineering or in medical field.

I do not know the reason behind this trend but it has not done any good either to the parents or to their children. But it has creating a sense of insecurity amongst the children that they cannot decide to choose a career other than these. 10 -15 years back engineering and medical were the only lubricative career available to the Indians but today the scenario has changed.
Today we have a lot of alternative careers for these but still Indian parents are obsessed with engineering and medical and this is something which is beyond understanding. It is becoming very hard to understand the mental condition of parents that why they are so preoccupied with only two professional courses even when we have other professional courses which give similar package respect and even better scope.

The result of this trend is very interesting. Today there are three engineers per five household and two medical professional per five house hold in India. Indians have a tendency that if their wards are either engineers or doctors they will be given their due respect in the society. This aforesaid and social status cannot be achieved by pursuing other careers such is the mind set if Indians.

Just imagine the situation where more than 50% of the country’s population is pursuing engineering and medical. Can we still imagine other sector to grow and prosper in these conditions. Even you forget about the other sectors just take these two sectors: these two sectors are only providing quantity of candidate and with quality they have nothing to do.

Data from the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the regulatory body for professional technical education, shows that the dash to start professional colleges are more pronounced when it comes to engineering as compared to other streams like pharmacy, hotel management and catering technology or architecture. There were 2,297 engineering colleges with a total student intake capacity for 8.19 lakh students and close to 1,500 management institutes with an annual intake of 1.5 lakh students (2008-'09).
The All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) receives more than 900 applications for starting engineering colleges institute every year.
