Reservation in India was initially given for the upliftment of backward classes but after 66 years of independence what they have got? The answer is nothing. Reservation system in India was introduced for first ten year after independence which is still going. Nobody debate on this that why in last 66 years the caste based reservation has given any fruit full result. If we look into closely we will find that reservation has not done any good to the citizens of India. However it pushed the country's growth backwards by many folds. Even government of India is accepting it indirectly by raising the reservation from 22.5% to 49.5% after 60 years of independence. If this system was helping the reserved people then why was it increased after so many years. No one is interested in addressing this. Why? Is it the because of the politics or because of the fear of the reserved people. Whatever be the reason it cannot stand against the growth of the nation. But alas we do not give a damn to it. And to add salt on wounds now India will have to adjust with reservation based on religion if current situation prevails. I am sure that the 'Respected people of India' will have no problem in accepting this.
